I got an early night last night, I think I was in bed by about 9pm, I knew I had to be up relatively early this morning because Nino had organised his weekend around me and was taking me out to see more sights of Melbourne.

I woke up at 8am this morning, had some breakfast (theyve bought cereal especially for me - bless!), had a shower and by 10am, we were back on the scooter, driving to St Kilda - a suburb in Melbourne. Its absolutely gorgeous, there is a lovely beach there and a very busy street with bars, cafes, restaurants and shops. We wandered down the pier and back towards the main street for some Gelato, its similar to ice cream, but much tastier - I had hazelnut and apple pie.

We were out for a few hours and we came back and had the leftover pizza from last night for lunch. I asked Nino if he would mind taking me to Coles Supermarket so that I could get some groceries - I am cooking dinner tonight; Roast Beef! Lukas came home from work at 3pm and asked if I wanted to go to one of his friends house because it was his birthday, so I agreed. The guy who's birthday it was; James, has a beautiful house with a swimming pool. There was about twenty people there, all sitting around the pool, drinking and having a bbq. I was introduced to everyone and we sat talking for a couple of hours. Lukas' friend Arthur, who lives accross the road from where Im staying bought me home so that I could start dinner.

Weve just had dinner, although the meat took longer than I expected because Nino and Lukas like their meat cooked well done. We ate at 8pm outside in the garden.

The temperature reached 28C today and its only spring! Apparently in the summer, the weather can reach high 30s / low 40s! Crazy!
