After many miles of beautiful driving along the coast we arrived in Monterey. We went to the aquarium today and it was pretty awesome. We thought the most amazing were the Jelly Fish and the Sea horse exhibits. The aquarium has a reputation as one of the best in the country and we weren't disappointed.
This area has history of the sardine canning industry. It was very interesting to read about this history and how they overfished and the sales bottomed out but are now returning.
