Ahhh, the Togean Islands. So relaxing, could there be any place more relaxing than this? Today Rudy, the owner of the bungalows took us to the Bajo village right across from us by boat. The village children were very friendly but also cheeky. The boys kept trying to hit the girls with their penises. Then they asked me to show them mine. I said no way!
The village is a stunning little place though. It's the kind of place you see in screen savers. I'm currently trying to be open to all avenues of possibilities. The only question I keep coming back to is what do i want? It's the only that matters to me, because if I know that, I know what to be. I just do what is natural. Just let it guide me. Photography and travel are natural to me.
Understand the rhythm of a place. Fast/slow/hard/relaxed/easy/layered/changing tempo/exciting. If you understand the rhythm, then you can understand the people, you understand it all. Here's it quite relaxed :)
This island is a true rainforest. We hiked to a bat cave, it was quite difficult. you just have to respect nature and how it is all control. It has ability to heal itself, and I hope it can.
The Togean Islands is the closest place I've ever experienced to my imagined beach fantasy.
There are 3 things that happen in your mind about a place.
1.) Your imagination about how a place will be before you go.
2.) Your time actually in the place.
3.) What you remember about a place. But it's still your mind carrying it.
There are many places that I carry in my mind from this trip. But more importantly are the people I've met that carry in my heart today. Now, I want to share all of this with the people that I love. I want them to share in this journey more. I will always travel the world. It's in my blood. I want to share my story of traveling, it is sharing, and it will allow me to travel forever.
