Today we had no real plans so decided to have some retail therapy. We drove to Canal Walk....the biggest shopping centre in southern africa where we hoped to get some souveniers but werent successful so decided to go back to the waterfront. Before going from one shopping mall to the other, we had a falafal that we had to gobble down as quickly as possible as it started disintegrating very quickly!

After walking from shop to shop, we managed to find the south african world cup shirts we wanted. We had a coffee before having to return our car. We then met our overland tour guides at Ashanti Lodge where we also met some of the people on our trip. We had to rush back to the backpakers as we had to pack before having an early night.
