Woke up early as we had to bring down the tents and pack up before we made our way out of Etosha and towards Windhoek, the capital of Namibia.On our way out we saw the queen of the jungle with 2 little cubs.Sat there for ages while everyone took thousands of pictures, after which all we did was sat there while Mark drove.We finally reached Windhoek at 3pm and stayed at the backpackers called "The Cardboard Box", which is exactly the way the rooms look...

we woke up early this morning not because we had to but because we could hear lions roaring all night...felt like they were just a few meters away from the tents. So we went to the waterhole hoping to see them there...but had no luck:( had coffee and rusks before we all climbed back into the truck for another game drive. Yet again stopped again to take pictures of the common zebras and springbrok as the muzungus were still excited! Didnt see much during the game ...

Left Sptizkoeppe at 7am to make our way futher north to Etosha National Park! We drove for a good 7-8 hours, therefore, had to have lunch on the truck....yuck...not very exciting! We reached the campsite at 3pm. set up our tents and went for a nice hot shower as we were drenched in sweat! We then went for an afternoon game drive where everyone apart from us were going crazy looking at zebras, springboks and ostriches! we were getting annoyed as we were missing...

A late start for once and no tents to pack...yay! We started the journey at 930am and drove towards Spitzkoeppe. Stopped at Cape Cross to see the seal colony....and cannot explain the smell...it made us feel sick but was impressive to see over 80,000 seals in one area! We stopped off for lunch in the middle of Kalhari desert and had veggie hot dogs!!! Finally reached our campsite at 4pm...went hiking up the rocks and took lots of pics. Had a birthday dinner fo...

Today was our latest lie in so far…woke up at 900am! Had breakfast, walked into town to buy our secret birthday gifts for our birthday celebrations in a few days time….was very hard as our budget was only 20 rand. Walked a bit more and then had a chilled out lunch after which we went quad biking in the desert!
