So I've finished my Trek trip. It was awesome! All the group were rally cool apart from a few people who only spoke Korean the whole time and we really felt like a divided group - Europe and Korea. The best bit of the trip was probably the helicopter flight over the Grand Canyon. It was sooo cool! Absolutely breathtaking! It was an unexpected expense but so worth the money. It's something I'll remember forever. The whole thing was just so good. I made some really good friends who I'm going to try and keep in touch with and maybe I can go and visit them.

I'm staying at the USA Hostels Hollywood which is really busy esp. compared to the HI Santa Monica which was very quiet and low key. Yesterday I went to Six Flags Magic Mountain theme park it was amazing! It was just massive rollercoaster after massive rollercoaster. Soo much better than Disney and Busch Gardens put together. We got to do some of the rides twice as it wasn't very busy. Don't know what I'm going to do until Thursday when I leave for San Francisco. I'm thinking of doing the La Brea Tar Pits and Art Musem today. One day I want to go to Universal Studios. I need to go there sooner rather than later as the one days admission included another day for free, although I'm back in LA in Feb before flying to NZ.

The computers here at the hostel are rubbish. I'm trying to check my bank account balance but it says page cannot be displayed. Although maybe it's the banks website?

Not sure how I'm going to add photos on to this blog yet. All my pix are still on the one memory card which is almost full as I hven't been anywhere I can upload them. I might have to pay for them to go on to CD and then mail them home for someone to upload for me but there really are 1000! And I want all of them! I've deleted the ones I don't want!

Will try and keep this thing updated more often now. Should be easy since I'm at hostels in cities. Not camping in the cold middle of nowhere with coyotes!

Hope everyone at home is ok in dreary UK. It may be quite cold here but at least its sunny!
