After our success with the public transport system, we thought we'd try our luck again today and catch a local bus back to Siam Square, the area we visited yesterday. We got up at 5.30am this morning as we had booked a taxi for 6.15am to take us to the airport. With Tom's faith in the Vietnamese now completely destroyed, he was convinced it wasn't going to turn up but at 6.20am (ten minutes late) it arrived complete with a driver who coughed, sneezed and blew his nose for the entire journey. Up early for the bus journey to Bangkok, six hours. As is the norm on these trips we stopped off at a severely over priced cafe after about fours hours. We were sat have our fried rice (the only thing we could afford there) and heard a load shriek from one of the Thai employees there.
