Got up for breakfast and then headed out to go to Universal Studios. The hostel offers tours to get there but this only runs if enough people want to go. Today they didn't have enough people for it to run so I caught the metro red line which is like the London underground to Universal City and then they have a free shuttle which takes you to the entrance of Universal Studios. I saw one of the girls that had been on my California Highlights tour so we spent the day at Universal Studios together. It was such a fantastic day. We went on the Simpsons ride, Jurassic Park ride, Revenge of the Mummy ride, House of Horrors and Backdraft ride. We went on the studio tour and saw some of the studios where films are made, saw many movie sets including fast and furious, King Kong, Jaws, War of the Worlds and many more. We saw Wisteria Lane from Desperate Housewives and they were actually filming so we got to see that for a bit and also they were filming Heroes which was so cool. We watched Sheik in 4D, a special effects show and also saw an animal show of all the animals that have stared in films. We both really enjoyed the day and its so worth the value of the ticket. Got back to the hostel around 6.30pm and did my laundry and caught up with things on the internet. Early night for me as I am flying to Oahu, Hawaii tomorrow morning.
