Today we got up for breakfast and then left the hotel at 8.45am to head to Los Angeles Hollywood. It didn't take long to get there. There were a few people that had massive hangovers from last night lol. I wasn't one of them. We arrived in Hollywood around 11am and had an hour to look around. Most of the places along Hollywood Boulevard have been in a film. We then met at 12am for the Hollywood walking tour where we were taken around by a lady showing us all of Hollywood Boulevard and telling us the history of many places along it. We walked down the walk of fame seeing all the stars on the ground, went in the Egyptian theatre, Kodak theatre and the Chinese theatre. The Kodak theatre hosts the Oscars and Academy Awards here. They were setting up for a movie premiere Whip It. It stars Drew Barrymore, Ellen Page and Zoe Bell. Quentin Tarantino and Steven Spielberg were also at the movie premiere. In the back of the Kodak theatre we could see the Hollywood sign. At 1.30pm everyone was heading off to Venice Beach and then onto Anaheim. I am staying in Hollywood for 3 nights so I said goodbye to all my friends and walked to my hostel - Banana Bungalow. I was a bit sad that the tour had ended after meeting such nice people and making great friends. One of the guys from the tour Imon was staying at the same hostel so we walked together. It was about a 30 minute walk. In the evening Imon and I went to a Jimmy Kimmel live show and we were in the live audience. This was really cool to be there and see how filming a show takes place. They had Ricky Gervais, Katherine from Dancing with the Stars and Alice in Chains on the show. After filming they had Alice in Chains in concert playing outside so we watched them play. They are a heavy metal band. I have never heard of them but they seemed to be really good.
