Got up ready to leave San Francisco at 7.45am. Rachel and I got coffee from Starbucks before we headed off. Loads of people are ending the tour in San Francisco so we are only 29 people now who will be ending the tour in Los Angeles. We spent the morning travelling in the coach and then stopped in San Luis for lunch. After lunch we went to Santa Barbara for 2 and a half hours. We went along the pier and then went round all the shops stopping at a really nice cafe for coffee. This is definitely the best coffee I have tasted in America. After Santa Barbara we headed to our hotel in Carpinteria - Best Western Carpinteria Inn. It's pretty much in the middle of nowhere. We had dinner in the hotel, steak sandwich. Think it was slightly better than the Wheatsheaf in Worthing lol. After the meal we stayed in the bar enjoying our last night all together. Its Jason's birthday tomorrow and he is turning 30 so we all chipped in to get a card and cake for him. Then we went back to our rooms and went to bed. I am sharing with Rachel again. She has been my roomie for the entire tour. It's been really great fun.
