Got up ready to be picked up at 8.50am to go to the airport for my flight to Los Angeles. It was at 11.20am with American Airlines. Checked in at the self service kisok, dropped my bag off and went through security. It wasn't long until we got called for boarding. There were 2 lines, one for normal boarding and one for priority boarding but only 1 person checking boarding cards for both lines. The lady in front wasn't pushing forward and there was a guy behind me getting really impatient having ago at the lady for not moving. Bit of an arguement going on with me in the middle of it. The lady turned round to the guy and said 'Don't be such an arse' in her american accent. I was thinking to myself 'the plane isn't going to leave without you so no need to rush'. Got on the plane and had a row of 3 seats to myself so I spread out. I was feeling much better today though flying with a cold is not good as take off and landing made my sinus' really painful. 5 hours later we were in Los Angeles. I got a shuttle to downtown Los Angeles to my hostel Stay. Los Angeles is massive and everywhere is so spread out. I didn't realise how big and busy it was going to be. Arrived at my hostel. Seems more like a hotel and much better than the hostel in Miami. I was supposed to be booked into a 8 bed dorm but they have given me my own room. Room is really nice and clean and has a TV. Bed is really comfy, bit of luxury compared to the last hostel. I went out in search of finding out where the Kawada hotel was. I have to catch a bus to Las Vegas tomorrow at 7am and this hotel is one of the pick up points. After asking someone in a shop, I found it and it only takes 20 minutes walk from the hostel. Went back and used the free internet for a bit. Trying to upload my photos of Miami on the internet but it was really slow so gave up. Watched a bit of Heroes on the TV and then got an early night ready for my early start in the morning.
