Got up early ready to be picked up for the Key West tour. I was feeling really rough, not by alcohol I would like to add but because I seemed to have developed a cold overnight. Must have caught it from the flight over here or maybe someone from my dorm room. Its one of those head colds as well so my head was killing me. Didn't really feel like being out all day on a tour but thought I probably wouldn't get another chance to visit Key West plus I had paid a non refundable deposit so dosed myself up and battled on. It took quite a number of hours to get to Key West and we did stop off for breakfast as well. We crossed over many bridges on the way, one was even 7 miles long. When we arrived at Key West we were taken around the area on the bus showing us all the points of interest. We were shown the area where Key West is 90 miles away from Cuba. We were dropped off for our own leisure time to have a look around. Got talking to someone else who was on their own. So we went around together. Visited a museum of Arts and History. It was really sunny so managed to get some more colour and get tan lines lol. By the afternoon my cold was getting worse and was getting watery eyes. Thank god for sunglasses lol. The journey back to the hostel felt like ages. We were supposed to be getting back for 7pm but didn't get back until 8.30pm. The hostel were doing a BBQ in the evening but we arrived back to late for it so I missed out which was a shame. In the evening I packed up my stuff ready to leave Miami tomorrow. One of the girls in my dorm room had her wireless laptop on so I asked her if I could use the internet to check my flight tomorrow in case of any time changes. Also gave me the chance to catch up on emails and facebook of course lol.
