Hello weekend! Prue woke up this morning feeling much better than yesterday! Just as well because it was fathers day/kings birthday and we were off to Undon Thani to do a spot of shopping and visit Pee Pok's dad! Departure time was 8 though Thai time was 9:30am and we were out of here. 6 in the car we stopped on the side of the highway to pick up some lotus flowers and coconuts! Yum. First stop was a shop similar to bunnings and cross with Ikea! We browsed the massive selection of butt sprayers as the fam picked up some hoses for the rice field. Back in the car we piled. next stop Biggsy! Bigsy resembled a massive westfield carindale with everything and anything including the huge food park! HEAVEN! We had a massive lunch of Pad thai Goong (prawn) and strawberry/orange drinks that we suspect was the cause of our queezy tummies! Rik picked up a cute pair of earings to support her fettish! Prue bought hair dye called intense dark red to test out! Next stop: an outter suburb of Udon where we met Pok's dad and brother! We blessed him and gave him gifts of milk. Much appreciated let me tell you. He had such a big heart and insisted we send photos to him of us and keep in touch! With a glimps of a teary eye we left and headed to dinner in Nong Kai! Along the way we saw beautiful fireworks (proo).

Upon arrival in the restaurant over looking the Friendship Bridge on the Mekong River, Prue's thong snapped causing a fit of laughter among the family instantly impacting the atmosphere that was once quite and romantic. Opps! Therefore she was wondering around with no shoes on the rest of the night! Dinner was amazing: Prawn and asparagus, Crab, Tom yum Goong, spicy seafood salad.

We were then delivered to Open minds where we were greeted with big hugs from Hak (our cambodian friend) and Tomas (our Spanish friend). The night was only just beginning. We played cards, reminised on the previous 2 weeks, drank leo and sculled brandy and hong Thong. Say no more as we rode our motorbikes home at 4am smashed!
