LIVEABOARD # 3.... plus New Years 2010!

so on the 28th I headed back out on the Parinee for my final 3day liveaboard with Wicked :( This liveaboard is about putting all our theory and new skills into practice and get out there and work! Katy and I organsied all the dive/boat briefings, all the buddy teams and lead all the dives! I had 4 guests and Katy had 3.. and we rotated the wicked staff so we recieved different feedback from them all.. GREAT TRIP! 7 guests.. lots of fun... really easy going.. FANTASTIC diving.. we saw mantas! yeowhoooo!

#1. Honeymoon bay: 29.6 degrees, octopus..lionfish...scrpian fish

#2. Anitas Reef: 29.5 degrees, blue spotted ray... pink anemoni

#3. East of Eden: 29.4 degrees, sloping reef... gorgeous fish life

#4. West of Eden: 29.6 degrees, Amazng!!! huge big boulders... sea fans!!

#5. Waterfall Bay: 29.7 degrees, Awesome coloumn structures... really pretty.. big sea fANS!

#6. Donald Duck Bay, 29.5 degrees... night dive.. huge morays, hermit crabs, shrimp, crabs...

#7. 3 trees, 29.5 degrees, barracuta, rays... eels...

#8. Koh Bon, 29.6 degrees... MANTAS!!! barracuda... awesome!

#9. Boonsung Wreck, 29.8 degrees... 2 cuttlefish, lots of lionfish... nudies galore.. scorpianfish X 10000... amazing dive!

So before the trip i bought a full length 3mm wetsuit! fits so well and it was so nice and warm- even in thermoclines! oh and an american guy Davis... left to go back to the states and gave me his compass and SMB! sweet! saves me a few $$! so i got to try all my new toys out! happy to say they are all perrfect!

ok so got back from the boat exhausted... 9 dives.. lots of responsiility... on guard at all times.. plus a 800m swim in 16min and a rescue scenario! early night on the 30th! On the morning of the 31st the DMT's headed to phuket with paul to go visit the hyperbarric chamber there! was pretty cool actually... u get movies in there!

after that paul had to go get some things for the jaya.. so we headed to grad central plaza for a few hrs... we wanted to see harry potter but it was already out of the cinema! :( so we ate sizzler and shopped instead! then i bought blue cheese and bree.. plus sum yummy bread and wine for our girly new years party!

back at the bungalow, steph popped over with pizza, pringles and more wine and we had a feast! soooo good! except my stomach didnt know what hit it... it hasnt eaten bread and cheese like that in a while! slightly pissed wee headed to snapped for a dance with the wicked crew... kissed my instructor on new years... then headded home... pancakes for breaky in the am! delicous!

what a night! so much fun! head was hectic this morning tho! so i have 7 days left here. its crazy. time has flown and im getting sad! i have met some amazing people here that im gonna miss so much! i will b back for sure... and thats a definate!

tomorrow we have the o2 provider course and then study in the afternoon! not much fun stuff! oh weell!
