Spent the morning watching about 25 Southern Right Whales and their calves. Nature is a beautiful thing. The whales come to Head of Bight to calve and stay around for a few months until their calves are strong enough to swim and then they go back to their feeding grounds in the Antarctic. Geoff and I could have happily stayed there all day watching them. Instead we got back on the road and conquered the remainder of the Nullabor. So it took 2 half days and 1 full day and wasn't nearly as boring a drive as we thought it might have been. We forgot about the quarantine station in Ceduna where you have to hand over your fruit and veg (even though it is no where near the border) so we all scoffed tomatoes, carrots, bananas and apples until we felt ill and then handed everything else over. We drove on to Streaky Bay in the Eyre Peninsula in SA, famous for oysters and seafood. We had local oysters, prawns and whiting for dinner.
