Not a lot to report today. We stopped and took a photo of the Big Galah (and his mate) at Kimba on our way to Port Augusta. Kimba is geographically half way across Australia as the crow flies. We also drove past Iron k*** which is where it all began for BHP and iron ore mining. Once we arrived in Port Augusta we went to the Wadlata Outback Discovery Centre which re-tells of life in the outback since the dawn of time. Our caravan park tonight overlooks the Flinders Ranges. Unfortunately this is as close as we will get. We will have to save that for the next trip.
