No ghost visits during the night. Geoff, Philip and Philip's mate got up at sunrise and went off to shoot more goats. They came home mid morning with a little surprise - a kid goat (they had shot the mum). It was probably a few weeks old and very cute. The kids fed it powdered milk with a baby's bottle and named it Patches and then of course the pressure was on to bring it home with us. I needed to squash that idea very quickly - Geoff was siding with the kids! In the afternoon it was off to a nearby property to shoot more goats Rambo style and explore the beautiful hills of the lower Flinders. We also came across plenty of aboriginal rock carvings on our walk. About 5pm we said goodbye to Aunty Jan, cousin Philip and Lachie and Oli. It was lovely to see them all and for the kids to share some memorable adventures.
We drove an hour or so towards Broken Hill and met up with The Neilsons, Scoullers and Stanburys who are just 2 days into their 3 week adventure through the Flinders Ranges and The Centre. It was great catching up and sharing their excitement. We camped out near some old ruins and it was freezing. By far the coldest we have been so far.

Andrew Lynn Hi Taylors, what did u end up doin with the baby goat? Would've made a very tasty meal after a bleed and overnight marinade! That'd solve the issue.
