Yep, Po's tooth is out. So with Po's gappy smile and Geoffs teeth we are fitting right in with the locals!!
Our dream run with the car and camper has come to an end. Currently we are sitting in a workshop in Katherine whilst the car is getting the once over. Yesterday we noticed a sound coming from behind the wheel and it turns out it is the handbrake cable that had dropped down and was rubbing against the tyre. Not a big job but best we get it fixed before we head into the Never Never. On the whole Geoff has been very happy with Cecil (our car) and somewhat happy with the camper - had a few drawers fall out and screws come loose - nothing Geoff can't fix.
We left Katherine after a swim at the thermal waterhole (around 34 degrees and very much to my liking) and we drove to Victoria River Roadhouse on the edge of the Gregory National Park- still in N.T. The drive in along the Victoria highway was stunning. It was dusk with a full moon and the colours of the rocks on the escarpment was beautiful. We had burgers for dinner at the roadhouse - yummo!
