It's been a pretty chilled out day today. Five people set off on the overnight trek this morning and everyone else has gone for a five hour walk. I do not do trekking. Basically Dave put me and Kate to work in the "kitchen", the kitchen today was outside overlooking one of the most spectacular views I had ever seen. The Simien Mountains certainly are beautiful.

I had the job of chopping a whole crate of onions, while Dave set up the camping oven and Kate and Sarah had the awful job of mincing the meat, without a mincer. Despite the boring undertones these statements imply, I had a really fun day just hanging around the camp and having a laugh.

We had a really nice lasagna for dinner and garlic bread, thanks to the camp oven and played games in the truck. It was too cold to do much else. Since Kat had gone on the overnight trek, rather than freezing to death, I slept in Laura and Sharyn's tent with them. Three in the tent, interesting.
