I was baked out of my tent this morning, due to the heat, there is no possible way to sleep in with this kind of heat. I was also on breakfast duty, a few people managed to sleep in, so I didn't have to cook for many people.
I managed to get some hair dye the day before and Kristel said she would do my hair for me. It wasn't as hard as I thought, dying hair while camping. At a few points during the process I thought my hair was going to end up purple. That would have been a nice change actually.
After lunch I went into town with Sarah and Dave who had to pick up a few supplies. A few others went along as well. I went for a walk around the market with Sheila and Derek, I let people assume Derek was my Dad, so I didn't get hassled too much. I managed to get myself a new bag, my other one was tied together. It seemed only a matter of time before someone ran past and snatched it.
The guy in the shop told me 75 and then tried to take 110 off me. I just snatched all the money out of his hand and went to walk off. Cheeky sod. Don't mess with me buddy I survived that kind of crap in Egypt. After our trip into town we went back to the camp and enjoyed the view for a bit, before having dinner. I had some really nice fresh fish, which was crumbed and fried and caught straight from the lake.
During the night it started raining and Siobhan and I had to get up and put our rain sheet on. The ground was too hard to push the pegs in so we had to unlock the truck and get the mallets out. Annoying! As soon as we had finished the rain stopped. Double Annoying!
