Santa woke us up at 5am so we could walk to the beach and watch the sunrise (what a nice chap) we took the 5 minute walk to the beach and caught an amazing sunrise, we then shot back to the camp and had brekkie and some much needed caffeine, we then packed up and bundled all of our stuff into the car, we did some more off roading and headed to an inland lake with a bunch of turtles in it, we picked a couple up and took some photos then put them back in the lake! We then went for a swim in the lake, it was fresh water with tea tree oil in it from all the surrounding plant life so it was super good for your hair and your skin! After that we cruised back down to 75 mile beach and visited the Mahino shipwreck and got a few snaps before picking a decent spot for lunch at Central, we then did this 40 minute walk in the boiling heat through a humid forest and then across a sand dune before ending up at this incredible lake, it was one of the nicest sites I had ever seen, especially after sweating my balls off on the walk, so ran down and jumped straight into the crystal clear water to cool off, then had a nap on the shore line before Team Germany decided to wake me up by dragging me into the lake! We spent a couple hours here and then went to Eli Creek for swim in the lazy river and a spot of sunbathing before we moved onto our next camp site, on route we stopped to see the skeletal remains of a beached whale, it was cool to see but pretty horrendous at the same time! We then got to camp, set up in record time and got dinner on the go, pasta, beef and salad! Yum yum! We had a few drinks after dinner but nothing big as everyone was knackered, then all passed out fairly early ready for the day tomorrow!
