Woke up fairly early as I had to get the 9:30am bus, I got up made some grub, had a shower and checked out with time to spare, the sun was shining again so I hopped into the courtyard and read a bit of GOT before taking a stroll to the bus in the sweltering heat with my backpack.. Joy! Got checked in for my 8 hour bus journey and picked a seat, a little while in a film came on which was decent to pass the time, we had out first stop and I stretched my legs and when we got back on the bus a second film was on the go, third stop and I bumped into Mike who was on my Whitsunday trip, we got chatting and realised we were at the same hostel so said we'd hang out when we arrived! Last leg of the journey was the best as the hobbit was on the tv!! This went quickest of all! Before long we arrived at mission beach and got in the shuttle bus to the hostel, we checked in and had a wonder around, seems like a decent place and it's basically in the jungle which is cool! Mike and I made some food and he dominated me in a game of chess before we all watched a movie on the projector and then called it a night, buses make me knackered!
