First day on Fraser today! Started the day by loading the car and then heading to the shop to get all our food for the next 3 days, we did a fairly speedy shop and managed to scrape within $4 dollars of our budget, we then popped to the bottle shop and got our drink for the next couple of days too, we loaded all of that into the eskies and got loaded back in the car and drove down to the harbour, after a short wait we got on the barge and 30 mins later was on Fraser, Santa got us going early so we were quick off the barge and straight onto the sand, we drove to a picnic area for lunch where we had sandwiches and then cruised down to the champagne pool for a swim and snorkel, they were amazing and the water was so nice, we then dried off and headed to Indains Head which is an incredible lookout spot, got some really decent photos here and the view was breathtaking! After that we drove to the pinnacles, they are these mounds of different coloured sand and the transition between them looked cool and got some more photos here, we then headed to the campsite to set up before we lost the light and had an awesome BBQ! Santa called it a night so the rest of us played drinking games and shared travel stories until we were pretty drunk... Still went to bed at a reasonable hour as we were up at 5am to watch the sunrise!
