Had a decent nights sleep and was up fairly early as Jed and I were going to the wake board centre just outside of Cairns, we had to get the bus there with the slowest and most useless bus driver I've ever had the privilege of riding with.. Anyway we got there eventually and even though we were a bit late the wake board guys gave us the full 2 hours we paid for, first couple of laps we did on the knee board to get used to the pull of the cable, after that we go straight on the wakeboard which both took to really quick and soon nailing the corners (apart from the last one) did a ton of runs and made the most of our first 2 hours, we then stopped for lunch and watched some guys nail some awesome tricks, we then started our second session and was cruising around the lake like a couple of pros, we rode the full 2 hours again and then we were done we caught the bus back to Cairns (different driver this time!) had a quick snooze at the hostel then went back to P.J O'Briens for another meal deal and a couple of drinks whilst talking to a nice Irish couple we shared a table with, after that we headed to Gilligans for a couple of drinks and I said my goodbyes to a few people before turning in mildly early as I was flying the following morning!
