We had a great day yesterday on Lantau Island, we took the MTR (subway) to Tung Chung then got on a cable car to Ngong Ping 360 to see the Giant Buddha. 260 steps up in this heat is no fun, but the view was great. The from Tung Chung we got the bus to Tai O, a small village of houses on stilts. We finished the day in Times Square in Causeway Bay on Hong Kong Island.

We've had a great time from the moment we arrived, seeing the newly weds (Kamilah & Mac) was lovely and the weather until this morning has been beautiful (if not a little sticky).

We are now at the airport hoping to fly to Bangkok but Hong Kong is being hit by the Typhoon that capsized a ferry in the Phillipines so now is not a moment too soon.

The city where England meets China has a diverse mix which seems to work, it's the cleanest city I've ever been to and the people are wonderful.
