Abbie - Today we stayed at Alice Springs. In the morning Liv and I got a double go-kart. It was great fun! Then we went and visited the old Hartley Street School. It was great to look at how they had school in those days. We got write on slate boards and play with deaf cards (children that were deaf would use them). Then we went to the old jail (or as they called the old gaol). It was the oldest building in Alice Springs and it was built in 1908. It was a bit disappointing because we didn't get to go inside. After that we walked over to the Royal Flying Doctors Services (RFDS). It was great. First we looked at a TV screen which showed us all the other RFDS services in Australia. We walked around and found a plane that showed us what is inside an RFDS plane. It was great to see what they do. After we watched a quick film on John Flynn. It was very interesting and had lots of great facts. Then we went through an RFDS museum. It was quick but good. Then we went to visit Heather and we had dinner with her and her friend Kate. Then we came back and went on the jumping pillow and in the games room and went to bed.

Olivia - We left from the van and were very excited because Abbie and I got to hire a go-kart. We had lots and lots of fun. Even though we only got an hour it was still fun. Our first place we went to was a very old school in Alice Springs. Me and Abbie had to write our own full name on a slate that's like a little chalk board without squeaking or else we got a slap from the cane. It was very interesting though. Then we went to a house that had been converted into a hospital by John Flynn. We got a tour at first but then we had to discover things ourselves. There was a bottom floor a middle floor and top floor. It was fun and cool. Our next stop was the old jail which is spelt gaol. It was disappointing because we weren't allowed to go in but it still looked cool. Then we went back to the caravan park and got ready and went to our friends house who lived in Alice Springs we had pizza for tea and then left. We got back and went to the games room, played two games and then dad Abbie and I went on the jumping pillow and had fun. Then we went o bed.
