Abbie - This morning we left at 7.30 from our bush stop to go to Uluru. We stopped for gas and then headed off. We didn't stop until we got to Uluru. When I first saw Uluru I looked amazed it was beautiful. I felt great about being one of the people to be respectful to the Aborigines. We didn't climb Uluru because the Aboriginals don't like us to, but we did go for a walk around a little bit of Uluru. It was a great rock and it was so big. We saw some Aboriginals painting they were beautiful paintings. After we had had enough we went and found a place near Uluru and had a camp fire and stayed there for the night.
Olivia - Today we drove to get some gas for the car and then we went off. It was amazing when we all saw our first sight of Uluru. When we got there mum and I went about a quarter of the way until I got scared so we came back down. It was very steep. We stopped at a place near Uluru and had a fire that was so good I almost burst my head off with excitement. Then we went to bed.
