After our all nighter we slept until about noon and then went to cascais alms walked around. It was right in a port and was a very well off area of Portugal. We got santini's again, equally good the second time. Then we went to estoril and sat on the beach for a while.
That night catarina's mom made us a traditional Portuguese meal of soup and "salada de bacalhau" which was essentially codfish, chickpeas and another type of bean mixed together, and then of course more amazing pastries.
After dinner we went out for coffee and had the best hot chocolate I've ever had in my life. It was as thick as pudding and pure chocolate, absolutely amazing!
Fun fact about my time in Portugal though, catarina's brother was a total cutie!
Another fun fact Is that Portugal didn't participate in world war 2, however they did sell the supplies to make weapons to both sides.. Sounds like a smart country!
