Just back from ther Inca Trail and Machu Picchu. Wow what an experience. My Nan (JB) was constantly in our thoughts and even enable JB to climb up and stand on a rock 2600m up (which you can see from the photo; it's the hill in the behind MP) with just a view of the river in the canyon. Wonders will never cease! Love to all J&P xxx

The monastry of Santa Carolina is so beautiful and the square in this city is great, however it is the dormant(we hope) volcano, called El Misti, which steals the show. Also has been a few big earthquakes here (last one in 2001) just to worry the grandparents!!!! We went sandboarding and buggying (please read this word correctly for those of you with that type of mind) which were superb (this photo is not of us surprisingly, but we were both far better). Just about to leave Peru to go to Pisco (for some sour piss up), Nazca to check out the mad monkey in the desert, an oasis nearby for some serious sandboarding, Arequipa the second city of Peru, Colca Canyon for hiking up the deepest canyon in the world and whitewater rafting, Cusco how beautiful does this place look, Manchu Picchu check photo out, fly into the Amazon for canoeing and finding the biggest and hairest spiders for Paus then back to the smoggy, grey,...
