Made LA after a 1500 mile drive through some amazing scenery. We also have been veggie for over a week now and feeling quite good for it... After a long and beautiful drive from the Oregon border through the gigantic redwood forests and stunning costal views, we have made SF. Things are more hectic, far busier and certainly more expensive than Oregon. In a way we are glad it is only 5 days before we fly to Japan because we will be ready for a different type of madness by then. Love to all J&P xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Well we have been treated like kings (i know we are travelling but we have not be allowed to pay for anything) and are now in Jeff & Mardy's beautiful house in Portland after a great weekend in Vancouver (the Canadian one for those who know there is one next to Portland) where Ken & Kellie showed us around their wonderful city and treated us far more than they should have done (wait till they come to London...).
