Made it from our mad dash through central america to the Bay Islands for a week of diving. On Roatan Island which is great though the weather today, wet and windy, reminds us a touch of the UK except for the palm trees, wild sea, coral reef, chilled bars etc. I think you get the picture. In Central America and loving it though a touch tired from all the "interesting" bus journeys in the chicken-run buses. Made it to Rio via a few days in Sao Paulo which turned into being quite fun but more of that later. Staying in Ipanema - many girls from here and guys (but think most of the guys are girls) - and this place is easily the most expensive!!! We first thought we were getting conned and kicked up a right stink but then realised by the purplexed looks on peoples faces that these prices were normal (though how you can justify $35 for a night in a dorm is still beyond ...

Back in BA for next 2 weeks to complete our final section of spanish lessons. Living with a local family in the Recoleta area of the city. Looking forward to seeing what everyone loves about BA though dont think we will be out as late as the locals (8am is a bit too late or early for us). Ciao for now, love ya, J&P xxxx

Caught the ferry from Buenos Aires to Colonia and plan to spend a week travelling to Montevideo and up the coast before returning to Argentina for school. Colonia is so beautiful, extremely relaxed, humid and hot, a great change from the hectic pace that is BA. Hopefully more of this to recharge our batteries love ya all J&P xxx
