Reached La Paz (3800m above sea level) safe and sound and have already planned the next week and a half which will be v hectic. Altitude is affecting us both so taking it easy and gives us an excuse to eat Chocolate. Just bumped into Sal (who we met in Ecuador) and also found out Louis (also met on the same train in Ecuador) is staying 50m up the road from us. This city is so different from Chile, a completely different world. Looking forward to exploring, experiencing some culture (ruins for the first time tomorrow since Peru) and then off to biggest salt lake in the world and highest city Potosi (4200m above sea level i think). see you all and love to all J&P xxxx
