Hope everyone is fine. Haven't checked our emails for 5 days as the internet where we were didn't work at all! Left Quito on the 27 September for the Coast hopefully for some sun. Not much luck on the sun, 2 days out of five, but found a great little sleepy town on a desrted beach called Canoa. If ever in Ecuador during the sunny season check this place out. The waves are great for surfing or just mucking around in. We are now in a place called Bahir and are waiting to catch the night bus back to Quito (leaves at 10pm and should arrive around 6am) then straight to the hotel for that night, meet the group we are travelling with to the Galapagos and then we fly out to the Islands for the cruise on 4 October. Roll on the blue footed boobie, what a great name, and swimming with the reef sharks - pausie reckons one in ten bite your leg off so reckon if we go in first when we see the sharks the 10th one will respects the law of averages and get the last in from our group!!!
