Sorry it has been so long since we last updated our blog.

We arrived in Australia on 17th August, we flew into Perth from Singapore. We stayed in a place called Cottsloe which was very beautiful. Our hostel was on the sea front and we had some amazing views.

The temperature in Perth was about 18 degrees so we both found it very cold, especially compared to Asia as we were only just getting used to the heat!

On our first day in Perth we saw a shark about 50metres from the shore, apparently it was a great white. There was a helicopter hovering over the shark trying to guide it back out to sea. It was quite scary really considering just further up the shore there were quite a few people surfing.

We stayed in Cottsloe for a couple nights before we headed to Freemantle. Freemantle was just a small town but quite busy. There was alot more going on in Freemantle. We didn't get upto much in Perth however we did go into Perth City a few times which is really nice.

We both enjoyed Perth but couldn't believe how quiet it was, we would come back if we had chance to as it very laid back and chilled out.

Were off to Brisbane soon to meet up with some of Pauric's friends so we are both looking forward to that.
