Day 95. Lazy rest day after our big drive across the Nullarbor. Walked around the very pretty town centre of Streaky Bay and to the end of the jetty. Lots of lovely old 1900s houses around the town and a couple of old lofty churches and a nice pub. Lunch at the local bakery and a short drive to Back Beach, a long white sandy stretch with rolling surf, cliffs and turquoise water. The hills around the town are covered in wheat crops, very nice relaxed feel about this place. Sitting on the beach in the afternoon sun reading my book, I chatted with a nice young couple from Wollongong who have been travelling much the same route as us. Dinner tonight braised steak and onions with garlic and rosemary sautéed potatoes and a side salad. Beautiful calm, sunny Spring day of 20 degrees.
