Day 95. Lazy rest day after our big drive across the Nullarbor. Walked around the very pretty town centre of Streaky Bay and to the end of the jetty. Lots of lovely old 1900s houses around the town and a couple of old lofty churches and a nice pub. Day 94. Awoke early to a great view out of our back window from bed of the blue waters of the Bight at Eucla. We were soon on the road crossing the border into South Australia, stopping at several viewpoints of the cliffs and a magnificent rainbow. But the best stop was Head of Bight where we viewed white sandhills to the east and the giant Bunda Cliffs to the west. Day 93. Up very early for a big day travelling east to Eucla on the Eyre Highway following the Great Australian Bight. We were surprised about the famous 'treeless' Nullarbor- plenty of trees and wildflowers and even a long range of hills that went for a hundred or more kilometres. Day 92. We left Kalgoorlie early this morning for the drive south to Norseman where stopped for lunch in the park. Refuelled again and then we turned due east onto the Eyre Highway which will take us across the Nullarbor Plain tomorrow. We are staying tonight at Fraser Range Station about 90km out of Norseman. Day 91. Lazy start to Sunday with poached eggs and toast for breakfast. Then we drove through the nearby Boulder town centre with its beautifully maintained heritage buildings to the lookout at the Super Pit of the Golden Mile, the richest gold mine in the world.
