Day 11. Cycling around the base of Uluru 10km today and a visit to the very impressive Cultural Centre. Highlights of the ride were Mutitjulu Waterhole in its own little tree lined gorge and the Mala Walk to the rock shelters and rock paintings of the traditional Anangu people. Climbing up the Rock closed today due to winds but we had decided not to climb anyway. Dinner tonight cook your own meat and fish with buffet at the nearby Pioneer Bar and Barbecue with live country music. Lots of fun! Cool windy day 18 degrees.
