Day 14. We have really settled into this touring life now! Slept in today and poached eggs for our Sunday breakfast. Lucky to see the Ghan arriving at the train station, hopped on board for a quick look. Visit to the Desert Dwellers, a fantastic big camping/caravan store and Bunnings to buy parts to fix one of our pop-top latches which has been troubling us for a couple of days. Then a visit through the Old Telegraph Station established in 1870 and lunch. Next the Cultural Centre to see the old Connellan Airways aircraft and the fascinating museum showing geological and fauna history of the region. In the Arts Centre we were amazed by the several original Albert Namatjira paintings on exhibition. Walk through the Todd Mall and grocery shopping at Woolies before heading back to our van late afternoon for drinks and barbecue steak with salad. Jumpers off today, reached 21 degrees preceded by a cold night only 1 degrees!
