Back to Bangkok and I must say your opinion of this place changes so much after travelling around Vietnam and Cambodia. While Bangkok is a big, busy city it certainly isn't as dirty and disgusting as people would lead you to believe. While you were sleeping! I left Monaghan at 1pm on Wednesday, 16th January and went to Dublin airport for our flight which left at 5:30pm. It would be a lie if I said there weren't tears but its only good luck for now. Xx We landed in Heathrow and boarded our flight at 10:10pm and while you were sleeping, we flew from there to Bangkok. Arrived at the Marriott Courtyard which i feel is somewhat out of our league but I must admit it is good to know that we've got a nice big bed and a very warm shower for the next three nights. We explored the 'good' side of town tonight where you can see Rolex, Versace and every shop you could possibly name! Although i did notice they forgot about the Penneys. :) We haven't seen a great deal of the real Bangkok today so we'll be going exploring soon!!
