Got our transfer from the pier to the resort. On first look in the dark its amazing and you could smell the sea because it was on the beach. We were shown our rooms with its sand tracks towards them. We left Bangkok on a 7:45am flight to Phuket. I don't think I've ever had as many early morning hops. Got to Phuket where we were met by our private transfer company. Back to Bangkok and I must say your opinion of this place changes so much after travelling around Vietnam and Cambodia. While Bangkok is a big, busy city it certainly isn't as dirty and disgusting as people would lead you to believe. In comparison to Cambodia it's a clean place and I'm yet to see any rats on my travels!
