Lisa was heading to Cairns today for 5 days so she walked across the road to the terminal for her 7:30am flight. I had to meet Chris, Dave M and Dave C at the airport for a week of skiing at Falls Creek. They had all arrived by 7:30 and we headed off for the long drive to the mountains. Stopped at Seymour for breakfast and Bright for lunch then a short stop at a loockout above Mount Beauty township. Eventually arrived at Falls Creek and unloaded the car and parked in the nominated area before being transported back to the transport hub where we were transferred to our lodge with all our gear. The lodge was very cosy and had everything we needed. (except a coffee machine!) We went to the ski hire place and got all our gear and our lift passes before settling for dinner at a nearby restaurant and an early night!
