Survived the first 13hiyr flight to Singapore! Even manage to stay awake long enough to see a movie and get my dinner! But on true return to form fell asleep and missed breakfast! haha. The next 7 hour journey from Singapore to Sydney was pretty mug he same watched another movie ate another salad accompanied by a side salad and slept missing breakfast haha. Arrived in Sydney with only 40mins to make connecting flight to Christchurch. Barely made it to the gate before it closed and sadly upon arrival in Christchurch realized my bad had not been so lucky!! So luggageless I made my way out of Christchurch airport to be greeted by Rich, Tom and Mel!!!

 Got in our hired car and made our way after lunch out of Christchurch and up the coast to Kaikoura. Where we found a nice little motel. After a small wander around to see the seal colony and pick up food from the supermarket made our way back to Bay Cottages where Rich and Mel made tea! After that I pretty much went to bed as the others watched a movie and hoped that my luggage will arrive soon!
