hi everyone hows things? im great! how your all well. my mum arrived last wednesday to visit me. which has been cool. had easter weekend off to do heaps of stuff. on the friday we went to circular quay n had a wander around the opera house then got the ferry to darling harbour. had a quick wander round there then went to Paddys market. lol. its not like skanky paddy's market in glasgow. its massive n sells everything from fruit, veg n fish to clothes, toys everything basically. i bout a hair piece (dont laugh) it looks pretty cool think im gonna wear it tonight when i go boogying! after that we walked thru chinatown n went up the skytower. the plan was to try n catch the sun setting but it was mega cloudy so unfortunately never got to see it. but we did get to take daytime and night pics. ill put them on over weekend. skytower is 1000ft high and you get 360deg view of the city. i was s***ting a brick! you can pay a hundred bucks and go outside on the glass platform deck as it turns round the tower. but i would seriously spew my ringer! i was terrified inside the building. but im still gonna do the bridge climb, which from the height of tower looks tiny. lol!

on sat we went to the rocks market and across to balmain to look the shops and have lunch. was a nice wee day out. nothing exciting to report back.

on sunday we went to shark bay to sunbathe, a tiny lil beach on the harbour with the scarriest massive shark net ive ever seen. after that we went up to the gap at watsons bay, which is the headlands just at the entrance to the harbour. where on one side you can see the ocean and the other you can see right across the city. fab view.

monday was a really nice day and we went to Palm beach, which is Summer bay to you lot. its bout an hour n half drive north of sydney up the beautiful coastline. This place was absolutely stunning! check out my photos when i stick them on. i got my picture taken outside the surf club. lol. it looks so tiny. unfortunately never saw any celebs. i defo need to come back as we didnt get to do the ferry thingy. it takes around broken bay and up the Hawksbury river. its such a gorg place, this is where im gonna retire to. if i could ever afford it).

so this weekend dunno what the plans are. got a birthday bbq to go to tomorra and on sun will hopefully do the harbour bridge climb if the weather is nice and clear. if not maybe blue mountains or even hunter valley. dunno yet will keep you all posted.
