hey everyone, i havent blogged in ages. but have had a really fab weekend so thot id left everyone know what ive been up to. i finished up working at S2F last thurs. was pretty sad actually as ive really enjoyed working there n met some really great people. i celebrated australia day playing lawn bowls and boozing on a scorcher of a day. was pretty cool althou i was tragic at it.
then chrisse arrived last monday. so took mon/tues off and just basically spent them catching some sun at bondi beach.
Started my new job at woodhead International on the wed. its going ok, but its a huge office and its gonna take a bit of getting used to.
on thurs went into Kings cross to check out my mate Mal's band "wier". it was his last ever gig as hes moving to Glasgow. (crazy muppit). after that wandered around kings cross whilst chrisse was shocked bout the blatent prostitution. lol. and we checked out tattoo places cos i want another.
On friday we went to the infamous Coogee bay palace. which has to be the sleaziest club ive ever been in. total cattle market even worse than clatty pats. was a pretty funny night. drank s*** loads and i won a pair of cool aviator shades. no kidding once one group of guys left us, others were straight over. felt like speed dating or summit. after we were flung outa the club at 4.30 or summit, chrisse decided she wanted to jump about in the ocean, mad t*** that she is. never got home til 6 am. we shoulda stayed at the beach to watch sunrise.
on sat i got over my fear of sharks and tim took me for a surf lesson down at bondi. it was feckin amazing.cant believe i was so terrified. it was such a buzz. i even managed to stand up the last few attempts. which is apparantly quite impressive for a first lesson. so im so gonna get into it. its a great way to get fit and get a tan. might even be tempted to buy my own board.
on sat night, went to meet some friends for dinner in Chinatown. we went to this Korean BBQ restaurant. where they have mini bbq's on the table and you cook your own. It was soo good. you's defo need to try it.
on sunday we went to Parris's house as my mate mel is leaving to live in Barcelona. So he has a few Japanese friends and we drank tons of saki and ate sushimi, sushi, octopus and some other stuff which i dunno how to spell. even had a go of making sushi. which was pretty cool. cant believe im the same person, at home i would never considered eating raw fish.
think im gonna head to the blue mountains this weekend. but not too sure. anyway hope everyone is good and ill speak to you soon. take care lv pammy x
