Day 11

Kununurra to Derby.

Took in a scenic flight over Lake Argyle and the Bungle Bungle Range...fantastic sights. Ladscape reminded me of the Rift Valley as you see it on TV. Only 4 on our plane...unfortunately one was a vomiting german woman...not too good for Sally in the back seat. Great trip though and a good view of the Kimberley diamond mine...no free samples though.

Then off on another long haul drive....turned out to be longer than expected as no room at the inn at Fitzroy Crossing..so on to Derby on the n orth-west WA coast...got to play cow dodgems in the twilight and saw our first hoppy in 7000 kms.......I missed him too!

Stayed at what passed for a "resort" at Derby...only room left....a/c not working and whistling water pipes at 5am......very dark outside.
