Back to Peg's for brekkie this morning. Yum. There is a lot of traffic on the drive from Reno to San Jose. Rush hour must be nuts. Car temp was reading 38.5 degrees! You can really see the toll that the prolonged draught is taking on the vegetation here. Most of the trees are just burnt, the Palm trees only have a small bit of green on the top. Good thing there's a pool at our hotel. We had a short visit with Marcus and Claire-will see Marcus again tomorrow. Went for Chinese food for dinner. Not very good.
