We started our day after a bit of a sleep in and with a touch of apprehension as to how dodgy the place was going to be with thieves etc. We walked to our local metro station and made sure our belongings were either locked away or held close and attempted to get in our first train... With no luck, apparently you get 2.5 seconds to board the train before the doors close on you and you almost get dragged along beside it, we had better luck the second time quickly ...

We left London this morning and I was pissed that the sun was shining after 7 days of gloom and fog with drizzle. Not happy Jan. We were in a bit of a panic having booked our bus tickets last night and finding out we needed to print them to get on the bus, so we got up at sparrows fart to get to the coach station early to get it sorted, upon arriving we couldn't find the carrier so after a rushed phone call we found out that the email ticket would be acceptable...
