We carried on along the GOR and saw the Loch Ard Gorge which is the sight of Australia's most famous ship wreck. Jess had a near death experience nearly standing on a snake, luckily I saw the snake first and stopped her, saving her from certain death. I'm sure the screams from Jess are what ultimately scared the snake off. Whilst here we also saw the Razorback, a line of rocks shaped like a razorback... Then the Thunder Caves and walked out to the beach to see some pretty impressive waves.

We then went to the famous 12 Apostles, although there are only 9 now and you can't see all of them from the viewing areas! Whilst here the skies darkened and it looked like it would rain. We had a bet which Jess ended up winning because it tipped it down. Loss of the bet meant I had to buy dinner.

We then got to Apollo Bay, dried off and went out for dinner. Whilst walking to the restaurant it decided to tip it down again, so much for the Australian summer! Jess once again tried the local roadkill (kangaroo) which is now her favourite it would seem! We headed to a nearby pub and had a couple of drinks with the manager and his mate, a very enjoyable and funny evening.

The next day we went to Cape Otway... the sun was out but still quite cool so very nice for walking around. We headed to the lighthouse, the oldest one in Australia. Pictures were limited to a distant as it was very expensive to get in! We then spotted some koalas in the trees so naturally Jess made me stop to take pictures.

We then headed to Maits Rest which is a rainforest, it would have been a very nice walk if ten tour buses weren't there at the same time. Next up was Triplet Falls which was about a one hour return walk, there were a lot of steps (a common theme here) but we did also get to see a couple of lizards which was pretty cool.

We then had some fajitas out of the balcony of the hostel, quite the contrast to the previous day!
