Celebrating our 1 year travelversary! One year since we left old Blighty, friends and family, and started a trip of exploration, adventure, new friends, exciting cultures, road trips, expat life and arduously hairy, tummy churning journeys on some very inventive transport.

Now back in KL, which appears to have turned into our most visited spot, we eat our last Malaysian meals before we head out of South East Asia and up further north. Malaysian is also our best spoken Asian language by far. Soon our new language will consist of gestures, head wobbles and smiles.

A day out at batu caves involved watching cunning monkeys steal from people, some flipping awesome Indian grub and some hand henna for me. The final day was spent postcard writing, attempting to claim back the cancelled flight money (fingers crossed) and yet more Secret Recipe cheesecake. A total of 5 all together on this 2 and a half day visit, including a swirling green coloured green tea flavoured one.
