Why hello England!
How are you all??
Sorry its been so long since my last blog but its been a crazy few weeks!!
As some of you may know I have now left the funny farm and am currently in Melbourne for a couple of days before leaving for Sydney!
I am already missing the farm and the people on it- my last month was totally awesome!! I spent my days driving the tractor around and feeding hay out to the cows (they chase after you like you have the crown jewels on the back!) so that was fun times!
Some of you may have heard but we were plagued by floods down in Gippsland over the past few weeks which meant moving pretty much all the cattle onto higher grounds so they didnt drown- that was a job in itself- without separating them all up again and putting themall back!! I have uploaded the pictures of the floods so you can see how bad it was- whole paddocks and bridges disappreared under lakes of water. It got to about a meter away from the house but luckily it stopped there- thought I was going to have to sail around the farm! When we were separating them up we had a baby missing a mum which meant trying to carrying it to its mum-there little babies are bloody strong I tell ya!! It kicked me and I ended up with bruises everywhere!!
On the upside though, I did watch a new baby being born the other day which was an interesting experience to say the least- thismum made it look easy giving birth...until she continued on tolick the baby clean and eat her own afterbirth- then it wasnt so pleasant!! However, from that day the new baby is now called Jenny and I have tagged her myself!! So I will always be on the farm causing trouble somewhere!! he he!
On the downside, we had another new baby born a few days ago which we think suffocated during birth and died. Then an interesting thing happended....they skinned the dead baby and put the skin onto another new baby without a mum so the mother would accept this new baby as her own....true! I have also had word today that it has worked so thats good news!
I covered a lot of markets in my last few months too- Packenham, Maffra, Mornington Peninsula, Caulfield, Mulagrave and Port Melbourne- and I also won the prize two weeks in a row for being the best!! lol
We have also had a shuffle around at the farm. Shian left a week before me which was sad as I really miss her! She is my best buddie over her so feel a little lost wiothout her! well kind of! Then we had a new irish couple who are totally awesome, wish I could of stayed and got to know them better but we had a giggle in the last few weeks!
I left the farm on Monday after a gut full of grog on Sunday night- hint for all you drinkers out there-a shot of jacks daniels and tia maria will get you hammered in minutes!
Leaving was sad, leaving everyone more so! i did have a bit of alump in my throat as I left so it wasnt pleasant! kind of reminded me of leaving the UK! It has been a massive part of my experience her so far so I would be lying if I said it didnt mean a lot to me!
Anyway, now I am back in Melbourne and I have exhausted myself already!! When I arrived I treated myself to a manicure as I couldnt bear my hands any longer and have been gagging for one for months!! (no where near as good as yours Ange!)
Today I went up to Federation square and they had a lot of things going on promoting AFL as it is the grand final this weekend between St Kilda and Collingwood which means it would be impossible forme to get a ticket to the game so I thought I would head to the MCG for a tour instead! Im glad I did as the grand was massive- really nice too. I got to see all the behind the scenes stuff too like the press office, members lounge, right through to the changing rooms and ice baths so it was rewally interesting!!
Tomorrow I think Im going to head to the Royal Botanic Gardens and the war memorialas thats the only thing I havent done yet!! Them tomorrow eving im off to Sydney!! Nice 12 hour bus ride to look forward to...im sure!! lol it will be fine imlooking forward to it!! I also have got quite a few mates there too who I am going to meet up with so that will be nice!!
Ill speak to you all soon!!
Lots oflove and missing you all lots xxxx

You Fave Lil Sis Hey Wrenny! Nice to hear from you after so long, especially now it's difficult to phone. As always, your adventures sound thrilling and you've obviously learned a LOT. It sound like you really needed that manicure! --- All's pretty well here. Mum, Nan, David and Dad are all fine. I'm a little stressed because I've got so many exams and assessments coming up in the next couple of weeks, but overall I'm fine too. We all love and miss you LOTS so stay safe. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Angela Hi Jen. Take the journeys as your time to relax, then wherever you land, you're ready to take it full on (as always lol!) Have a great time in Sydney and report back soon. Girl, my manicures are even better, I've just finished my training with Bio-Sculpture Gel and am attacking my victims as we speak! This stuff is instantly dry and last for weeks, maybe not in a farm though!! Come try with me when your back. Don't hurry, I/we miss you but enjoy and experience as much as poss. on this fab journey. Everything will be the same here, well a few more wrinkles maybe, hahaha uhhh! Love ya Ange x
